A Letter to God #3

Praise the Lord for his beauty, his love,  his great mercy is beyond words… He’s Indescribable ❤
In the rustling leaves I find you

In the swaying grass your beauty is evident

Each blade stands tall, side by side

Lord let me see these miracles

When I wrestle with my pride

See the calm waters even in the glass before me

When the sea of my emotions have become so rough

Let me find the sole light post in the darkest of nights

And scream “Yes Lord”

For there is serenity in your name

There is hope in your sacrifice

And love in your word

Even a simple “hello” would suffice

Would satisfy

Instead, wrapped around my neck was a cord

A cord of death

And you cut it

So each breath I take is because of your mercy and grace

Humbled, I pray

I long to one day see your face

But the treasure of the mystery

Pulls me out of my misery

For that I shall be eternally grateful
